The National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) is presenting its annual juried members exhibition revolving around the concept of Open Horizons at the County College of Morris Art and Design Gallery, February through March.

NAWA selected its theme to highlight the truth that no matter how challenging the times are, the horizon of the future is always open. Even in abstract concepts, horizons can be found in the divisions of space, a landscape, or a sea or cityscape, according to NAWA.

The gallery is housed within the Sherman H. Masten Learning Resource Center on CCM's campus at 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph. The gallery's hours are Monday and Wednesday, noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, noon to 8 p.m., Friday, noon to 4 p.m., and the first Saturday of the month (Feb. 3) 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Included in the exhibition are the works of CCM adjunct professors Andrea Kelly, Marisol Ross and Leah Tomaino. The three professors will lead a panel discussion about open horizons on Thursday, February 1, at 5 p.m. Both the panel discussion and exhibition are free and open to the public.

The annual juried members exhibition is the largest of the year for NAWA. In 2015, CCM also held its exhibition, Art of Transformation, which focused on the power of art to transform lives.

NAWA is the oldest woman's fine art organization in the country and an active community of professional women artists that strives to support its members and women artists at large through exhibition, programs, and education.
