CCM Hosts Hour of Code Events in December

No matter what field you are in or plan to pursue, knowing how to code can provide a distinct advantage.
Ever wonder what makes that app work and if you could do something similar? Or perhaps you would like to know how to solve problems better and faster by developing an attention for detail?

To help people get started with coding, the County College of Morris Department of Information Technologies and Computer Science Club will host an Hour of Code event, as part of an annual global movement to expose people to the wonders and creativity of computer coding.
The CCM Hour of Code this year will be held on December 4, 6 and 8. Each session is free and open to the public. To date, this annual event has brought hundreds of people of all ages and experiences to CCM and introduced them to coding.
This year, there will be sessions in App Creation, Intro to Python and Cryptography, Physical Computing with Raspberry Pi and Cyber Coding. All sessions take place in Emeriti Hall, Room 206, on CCM's Randolph campus, 214 Center Grove Road. Parking is in Lot 7.
App Creation takes places Tuesday, December 4, and Thursday, December 6, at 12:30 p.m., and Saturday, December 6, at 10 a.m.- Intro to Python and Cryptography takes place Tuesday, December 4, at 12:30 p.m. and Saturday, December 8, at 10 a.m.
- Physical Computing with Raspberry Pi takes place Tuesday, December 4, and Thursday, December 6, at 12:30 p.m.
- Cyber Coding takes place Thursday, December 6, at 12:30 p.m.
