Freeholders to Hold Public County Budget Introduction Meeting

(, 0B)The Morris County Board of Freeholders' budget subcommittee will hold an informal 2017 public budget meeting on Wednesday, March 22 in Morristown.

The session is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Morris County Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown. The meeting will be held in the Knox Conference Room, fifth floor.

The purpose of the meeting is to let county residents, mayors, municipal council and committee member, and other public officials from all 39 Morris County municipalities make comments and ask questions of the budget subcommittee and its financial and senior staff prior to the 2017 budget introduction later that night.

The budget is scheduled to be introduced at the regular Board of Freeholders meeting at 7 p.m. that same night.
