Temporary Detour for Erosion Control Project Scheduled to Begin June 23
Beginning Monday, June 23, southbound traffic on Flanders-Netcong Rd. (County Road 613) between U.S. Route 206 and Flanders-Drakestown Rd. will be temporarily detoured for Phase 1 of an erosion control project. Northbound traffic will be maintained at all times throughout the project.
Work will take place Monday through Friday, from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The closure and detour will be lifted at the end of each workday. Phase 1 is expected to take approximately 5 to 10 business days to complete.
Phase 2 of the project will begin Monday, July 14, at which time southbound traffic in the same area will be permanently detoured. Work will follow the same weekday schedule, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but the detour will remain in effect at all times, including off-hours, until construction is complete. Phase 2 is expected to take approximately 15 to 20 business days.

Flanders-Netcong Rd. heading toward U.S. Route 206 (before Drakesdale Rd.)
- Turn left on to Drakesdale Rd.
- Turn right on to U.S. Route 206
- Continue to the intersection of U.S. Route 206 and Flanders-Netcong Rd. (C.R. 613), end of detour
Traffic from Flanders Rd., Corey Rd., Ramar St. and Flanders-Drakestown Rd.
- Turn left on to Flanders-Netcong Rd.
- Turn right on to Drakesdale Rd.
- Turn right on to U.S. Route 206
- Continue straight to the intersection of U.S. Route 206 and Flanders-Netcong Rd. (C.R. 613), end of detour
