Model T Ford Day at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm on Saturday, August 3

On Saturday, August 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., spend an exciting day on the farm featuring restored Model T's at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township.

Join car enthusiasts from near and far as they share their passion and hard work of restoring these historical cars from the early 1900s. Generally known as the first affordable automobile, the Model T is a symbol of independence and opened transportation to middle-class Americans.

On Christmas Day in 1922, Caroline Foster, the daughter of the previous owners of Fosterfields, received a Model T as a present from her friends. Although her father, Mr. Charles Foster, was unhappy to see this new form of transportation on his property, it meant greater freedom for Caroline, and she took it out on her first road trip the very next day.

Discover how to crank and drive the cars, learn about the history of Henry Ford, and stop by Fosterfields' Transportation Exhibit to see Caroline Foster's car and others on display. Enjoy fascinating lectures, fun, hands-on activities and demonstrations for all ages, and live music. Visit the farm animals, and end your day by watching an exciting car parade.

Admission is $8 per adult, $7 per senior (65+), $6 per child age 3 - 16, and FREE per child under age 3. Friends members are half price with a current membership card. Car exhibitors receive two FREE admission passes.
