Morris Chamber: DOT Commissioner to Provide Updates on Key Road and Transit Projects

The Morris County Chamber of Commerce will hold a special Good Morning Morris public forum featuring New Jersey Department of Transportation Director Richard Hammer on Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Hanover Marriott in Hanover Township.

DOT Commissioner Hammer is expected to discuss a variety of topics, including safety, infrastructure, mass transit, rebuilding the state's road and bridge networks, and using technology to help reduce traffic congestion.

The Chamber's "Good Morning Morris'' breakfast events generally attract a diverse group of more than 100 business professionals and community leaders. Held five times each year, these events features high-profile guest speakers, a sit-down breakfast and networking.

Recent guest speakers have included Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno, Newark Mayor Cory Booker, CNBC reporter Guy Adami, NY Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum, and author Steve Adubato.
