Morris County EDC: 25th Annual Partners in Economic Development Awards on March 10

Jay Bapna, Senior Vice President Global Engineering for Allergan is Keynote Speaker
The Morris County Economic Development Corp. will hold its 25th Annual Partners in Economic Development Awards event on March 10 at the Birchwood Manor in Hanover Township.
Keynote speaker will be Jay Bapna, Senior Vice President Global Engineering & EH&S at Allergan. He will discuss Allergan's decision to move its U.S. headquarters to Madison.

Prior to the luncheon, there will be a panel discussion about innovation in the pharmaceutical industry. It will be moderated by Dean Paranicas, President and Chief Executive Officer of The HealthCare Institute of New Jersey, and will feature John Oroho, principal of Porzio Life Sciences; Clive Meanwell, CEO of The Medicines Company; and Keith Bostian, CEO of the Institute for Life Science Entrepreneurship.
Being honored at the event with Real Estate Awards for 2016 transactions are:
- Office Category: Jones Lang LaSalle and Allergan
- Industrial/Flex Category: Team Resources and Linemart
- Retail Category: Planet Fitness
- Business Attraction Award: JLL and Avison Young and Canfield Scientific
- Business Retention Award: American Properties Realty, Inc. and Nutra-Med Packaging
- Business Expansion Award: Blau & Berg Company and UPS.
The cost for the awards luncheon is $85. The entire event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
