Morris County Health: Coronavirus Update

The Morris County Office of Health Management is keeping close watch on the Coronavirus situation in Asia and across the world, following the guidance of state and federal health agencies in the U.S.(JPG, 322KB)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by the virus, which was first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.

Chinese authorities identified the new coronavirus, which has resulted in thousands of confirmed cases in China, including cases outside Wuhan City. Additional cases have been identified in a growing number of other international locations, including the United States. There are ongoing investigations to learn more.

Currently, there are no known cases of the virus in New Jersey.
