Wednesday's Panel Discussions Feature Diverse Speakers
In today's data-driven and task-orientated world, abilities such as creativity, collaboration and even the ability to have deep thought and reflection are often lost. The arts encourage and develop abilities resulting in new innovations and opportunities.

The 1st Annual Arts & Innovation Summit, Inspiring Growth & Opportunity, will be held Wednesday and consist of two focused panel discussions. The first will be on "Arts & Innovation" as it relates to workforce development and the second on the difference between STEM, STEAM and STEM arts. The virtual panel discussion will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are $10 and available on the MPAC website.
We have witnessed a transition from an industry-based to information and technology based-economy. Creativity has become more valued as an essential workforce skill, said panel member Jane Armstrong, Director of the Morris/Sussex/Warren Workforce Development Board and Officer of North Jersey Partners, a non-profit workforce organization.

Each panel discussion will feature a diverse speaker set with expertise from the arts, business, non-profits, and industry recognized speakers.
The panelists will not only analyze and discuss the topics in-depth but focus on real world success stories and tangible take-aways. In between each panel discussion, a focused "Thought Leadership Segment" will discuss a follow up concept to the previous panel discussion with a community or business Leader. At the conclusion of the formal program, attendees will have the ability to participate in interactive discussions on topics presented during the program.
