Interactive Show Invigorates Youngsters on Recycling
Magician, comedian and showman Bill Kerwood presents The Magic of Recycling in a visually stimulating show for students who learn about the journey of a piece of refuse as it is tracked along 3 common paths.
Morris County Library will hold two shows, Tuesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. or Wednesday, April 24 at 3:30 p.m. the program is sponsored by Morris County MUA.
Billed as the "Ambassador of Possibility," Kerwood uses magic, audience interaction, call-and-response and mnemonics to help youngsters learn the most effective method of preserving our environment, their future and what they can do every day to reinforce best practices.
The program is tailored to Morris County's recycling standards for both school and home. The information is guaranteed to stick in their minds, all the while having a blast!
At the show's climax the students recite the core content of the program in unison from memory -- a demonstration that amazes even teachers. This validates to the students that they know the content so they can confidently and competently receive the title Recycling Captain of their home. That's the magical catalyst that produces results in every community.
