Enjoy this special tour of The Willows at Fosterfields Living Historical Park Throughout October (when else?)

Here's an unusual offering from the Morris County Park Commission -- just in time for the Halloween season.

Beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 4 through Sunday, Oct. 29, take a fascinating tour of The Willows, the Foster family's mansion, to explore unique death and mourning practices during the Victorian period.

Discover how customs, now considered strange, influenced loved ones for months and years after a person passed. Learn about old these traditions, and compare with those practiced today.

Tours are available at both 1 and 2 p.m. on Wednesdays through Sundays, Oct. 4 through Oct. 22, and also Wednesday, Oct. 25 through Friday, Oct. 27, plus Sunday, Oct. 29. The event will be held at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township.

This program is appropriate for adults and children ages 12 & up. Admission is $6 per adult, $5 per senior, $4 per child age 16 and under. Register for a tour at the Visitors Center reception desk.
