Tuesday, Dec. 15, 10 a.m.: Floral Arranging with Supermarket Flowers

Ann Fahey, Superintendent of Horticulture Education, will demonstrate how to design beautiful floral arrangements with supermarket bouquets for the winter holidays! Participants can just watch the demonstration or buy their own flowers to arrange at the end of the program. Cost: $10.

Thursday, December 17, noon: Bringing Greens Indoors

Learn how to tell the difference between pine, fir, and spruce trees. Discover which kinds of greens in your own yard are perfect for cutting and how to successfully bring them inside for seasonal décor. Most of the class is about plant identification and the best plants to use. Cost: $10.

Tuesday, Dec. 22, 10 a.m.: Always Evergreen

Join Horticultural staff members to learn the tricks of the trade to make a green centerpiece perfect for the holiday table. Greens and mechanics will be provided prior to class but feel free to supplement with your own extra greens, decorations, and more. Cost: $25, includes materials. Upon registration, make arrangements to pick up the materials.
