Morris Prosecutor: Joint Morris, Sussex, Bergen Investigation Yields Drugs, Firearms, and Cash

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Morris County Acting Chief of Investigations Chris Kimker, and Parsippany Police Chief Andrew Miller announce the arrest of Samuel J. This investigation culminated on Wednesday (Jan. 29) when law enforcement officers from multiple agencies executed three search warrants in Sparta, Cliffside Park and Parsippany. The result was the seizure of approximately 350 grams of cocaine, 37 pounds of marijuana, numerous firearms, and more than $300,000 in suspected drug distribution proceeds.

The following individuals were arrested as a result of this investigation.

Rozynski, 44 of Sparta, who is in custody at the Morris County Correctional Facility, was charged with

  • First-Degree Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute
  • First-Degree Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
  • Second-Degree Conspiracy to Distribute Controlled Dangerous Substances
  • Second-Degree Money Laundering
  • Three counts of Second-Degree Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of CDS Offenses
  • Third-Degree Possession of Cocaine and Marijuana Within 1,000 Feet of School Property
  • Third-Degree Possession of Cocaine
  • Fourth-Degree Possession of Marijuana
  • Fourth-Degree Possession of Prohibited Weapons and Devices (large capacity ammunition magazines)

Goulbourne, 37 of Cliffside Park, was charged with the following:

  • Second-Degree Conspiracy to Distribute Controlled Dangerous Substances
  • Third-Degree Money Laundering

She has been released pending a further court hearing.

Prosecutor Knapp said The cooperation and coordination of investigative efforts by all involved agencies culminated in this very significant seizure of drugs and firearms. We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to reduce the supply of illicit drugs.
