Navigating Hope and Hope One -- Stops Upcoming at 13 Sites Including Randolph and Montville

Offering Social and Addictions Services Across Morris County

Morris County Department of Human Services' Navigating Hope vehicle

Morris County's mobile social-services-center-on-wheels, Navigating Hope, and the Sheriff's Hope One addiction services vehicle will crisscross Morris County over the next two months, making a combined 25 visits to 13 sites, from the One Stop Career Center in Randolph to the Blue Foundry Bank in the Towaco section of Montville.

The mobile programs visit supermarkets, libraries, churches, soup kitchens, shopping malls, and many other locations to reach county residents in need of assistance.

Stops are planned through March in Randolph, Dover, Montville, Rockaway, and Morristown. Navigating Hope's runs frequently are coordinated with the Morris County Sheriff's Hope One van.

We reach out to residents of Morris County with Navigating Hope and Hope One to provide Stigma-Free assistance, counseling, and treatment for county residents in need,'' said Morris County Freeholder Kathy DeFillippo. "These residents may not be able to travel to county offices and may have fallen through the cracks of the system.''

Navigating Hope, financed by county tax dollars approved by the Freeholder Board, offers on-site benefits eligibility screenings and application assistance, plus links to other community services. It is a partnership between the Morris County Department of Human Services and Family Promise of Morris County. Offerings include:(PNG, 37KB)
