The bridge is located at the point where the on-ramp from Interstate 80 westbound Exit 34B and the ramp from West Union Turnpike northbound merge onto Route 15 northbound.

The following detour will be in place:

  • West Union Turnpike northbound to Route 15 northbound:
  • Motorists on West Union Turnpike taking the ramp to Route 15 northbound will be directed to stay right and take the ramp to I-80 eastbound/Denville/Paterson
  • Take Exit 35 to Mount Hope/Dover
  • Stay left on the ramp
  • Turn left onto CR 661/Mount Hope Avenue northbound
  • Turn left to take the ramp to I-80 westbound to Route 15/Wharton/Netcong
  • Take Exit 34B to Route 15 northbound/Jefferson/Sparta

The work is part of the $16.4 million state-funded maintenance contract that will make repairs in various to concrete structures at various locations throughout Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union and Warren counties.

The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
