American Legion
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.

American Veterans of Washington Township, Post 1776
The American Veterans Association of Washington Township is a stand-alone non-profit organization from Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey, with a purpose of keeping the service and history of Veterans “alive”. The American Veterans Association of Washington Township regularly speaks to local student classes about their first-hand experiences in the military from WWII to the present.

Blinded Veterans Association
The Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) is an organization of blinded veterans helping blinded veterans. Founded in 1945, BVA has been helping blinded vets ever since. Although chartered by the U.S. Congress, BVA receives no government funds.

Marine Corps League
Members of the Marine Corps League join in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving traditions, promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service.

Veterans of Foreign Wars
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. Today, membership stands at more than 1.6 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliary.

Vietnam Veterans of America
Vietnam Veterans of America’s (VVA’s) goals are to promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of veterans, and to change public perception of Vietnam veterans. VVA strives to make sure that those who serve our country receive the care and respect they have earned.
