Thomas J. Mastrangelo

Commissioner Mastrangelo, in a dark blazer and blue tie, in front of an American flagThomas J. "Tom" Mastrangelo is serving his fourth, three-year term on the board, making him the second longest-serving member of the current line of Commissioners.

Commissioner Mastrangelo is a lifelong New Jersey resident who was first elected to the board in November 2010, and then selected by his colleagues to be director in 2013 and again in 2014.

He is a member of the county’s Capital Budget and Facilities Review Committee and is liaison to the Park Commission, the Economic Development Corporation and the Morris County Improvement Authority. He also is co-liaison to Law and Public Safety, Public Works, the Office of Planning and Preservation and the County Insurance Fund Commission.

Professionally, Mastrangelo has more than 25 years of management and business consulting experience in the information technology industry, especially in the areas of design and delivery of technology solutions involving storage systems, networks, server platforms and support services.

A Montville resident, Commissioner Mastrangelo holds a bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University and an M.B.A from Fairleigh Dickinson University, performing his international business study in England. He also has a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Commissioner Mastrangelo and his wife, Debbie, have three children, Christopher, Michael and Brittney; a daughter-in-law Allyson, and one grandchild, Audriana.
