We enforce the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code in county-owned buildings, including all premises owned or occupied by county authorities, boards, and districts. Additional duties and responsibilities include acting in an advisory capacity to all fire departments and local enforcing agencies in the county and providing assistance to municipal, county, and state partners in conducting fire investigations pertaining to the origin and cause of fires occurring in the county.
