Morris County Surrogate Heather J. Darling and staff at the Morris County Surrogate’s Court proudly honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces this Veterans Day. Surrogate Darling expresses her gratitude to all who have worn the uniform, recognizing their courage, sacrifice, and continued impact on our communities.
The Morris County Surrogate’s Court remains a proud partner of the Morris County Veterans Services Office, working together to ensure that Veterans and their families are informed of and connected to the benefits they have earned. Through this collaboration, Veteran survivors who visit the Surrogate’s Office receive guidance and information to assist them in accessing resources such as burial benefits, memorial certificates, grave markers, and other available programs. This collaboration underscores the County’s ongoing commitment to honoring and supporting those who have served, as well as their families during times of loss and transition.
As the community gathers to honor Veterans Day, Surrogate Darling encourages all residents to take a moment to thank our veterans for their unwavering dedication and sacrifice.
