Missing Persons Investigation Continues into Adult Female

On the two-month anniversary of her disappearance, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Human Services Police Chief Brian Lee announce that the investigation into the whereabouts of Destiny Erts is ongoing.
Erts, of Randolph, New Jersey, was last seen on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., at the Dover Public Library. She is considered intellectually disabled and endangered. She is a 26-year-old Black female, 6 feet 3 inches in height, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing black pants, a navy blue tank top, a gray hooded cardigan, black shoes, and carrying a light gray bookbag.
Investigators have pursued leads in the Bronx and New York City, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit, and the Human Services Police Department have been working with the NYPD.
