Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp and Township of Randolph Police Chief David Stokoe, announce a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred in the Township of Randolph earlier today. On July 26, 2014, at approximately 1:35pm, the Township of Randolph Police Department was notified of a single car motor vehicle crash that occurred near 48 Ironia Road in the Township. The investigation has revealed that four juveniles were passengers in the motor vehicle. Two of the juveniles have been fatally injured. At this time, the investigation is ongoing and no additional information will be released today.
Law enforcement officers from the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit, the Township of Randolph Police Department, and the Morris County Sherifff's Office Criminal Investigation Section have taken part in this on-going investigation. The Township of Randolph Fire Department also participated in life saving and recovery.
