East Coast Latino Gangs

Gang Suppression Through Educational Programs (G-STEP), in collaboration with Morris County Sheriff Office Gang Intelligence Unit, is proud to announce a specialized one-day law enforcement seminar: East Coast Latino Gangs: Advanced Identification & Awareness that will be held on May 26, 2026, at the Morris County Public Safety Academy from 8am to 4pm.

 

This seminar offers law enforcement officers critical tools to better identify and combat gang-related crime, with a special emphasis on identified East Coast Latino Gangs that pose unique challenges to public safety. This 1-day seminar will cover:

 

• Understanding the dynamics between East Coast, West Coast, South American Latino Gangs
• Identification & potential impact of Extreme Soccer Groups during the upcoming FIFA World Cup Finals
• Identification & current trends of East Coast & Caribbean Specific Gangs:

  Almighty Latin King & Queen Nation / Association Neta / Trinitarios / Dominicans Don’t Play

  GFM: Gran Familia Mexicana / RZL: Raza Loca

• Identification California / West Coast Specific Gangs Identified on the East Coast:

  eMe: Mexican Mafia / Sureno 13 / Norteño 14 / MS13: Mara Salvatrucha / 18^th Street

• Identification and awareness of South American Gangs:

Los Lobos / Los Chonores / Tren de Aragua
