Title V Initial Operating Permit Public Notice

On behalf of the Morris County Building and Grounds Department (County), Suburban Consulting Engineers, Inc. (SCE), conducted site surveys of thirteen (13) County facilities located in or around the West Hanover County Complex (Complex) to collect all active gas emission equipment to be covered under the new Title V Permit. Through the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Online portal, SCE listed all equipment and their associated emission information as required for the Title V application. Once the permit is approved, all existing and future equipment will be covered under the Title V Permit.  

In accordance with the NJDEP Administrative Order 2021-25, the County will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving oral and/or written comments on its Title V Initial Operating Permit Application, current permit number BOP200001. The hearing will be held via virtual attendance/Teams/Zoom on Monday October 3rd, 2022 from 6:00 PM EST to 8:00 PM. Concurrent with this notice, the County will receive and consider written comments for a minimum of 60 days starting on Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 and concluding at 5:00 PM EST on Wednesday November 2nd, 2022.
