Morris Chamber: Energy Innovation and Carbon Act is Focus of Upcoming Program

Citizens' Climate Lobby talks Market-Based Solutions for Climate Change
(JPG, 233KB)The Morris County Chamber of Commerce will host a special forum on market-based policies that can address climate change issues on Thursday morning, Feb. 27 in Florham Park.
Richard Larsen and David Korfhage of Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL), which is a non-profit, non-partisan organization advocating, will discuss climate change as it relates to businesses, and also will present information on the proposed Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (H.R. 763)
That bill proposes to implement a market-based solution for reducing America's carbon pollution while unleashing American technology, innovation and ingenuity on the climate change issue. CCL hopes to increase bipartisan support and is seeking support from businesses.
