MORRIS COUNTY CRIMESTOPPERS NEEDS YOUR HELP TO SOLVE THIS CASE -- Reward Offered
Morris Plains Police are seeking the public's help to obtain information about a residential burglary and house ransacking that occurred on Saturday, Oct. 26, at a home on Littleton Road (Route 202).
Police said patrols were dispatched to a home at Littleton Road at 7:57 p.m. on a report of a burglary. When officers arrived, they found the back door of the home had been forced open. The burglar or burglars targeted the bedroom, taking an estimated $20,000 in women's jewelry and about $7,000 in men's watches. The three bedrooms also were ransacked.
The burglary occurred between 3 p.m. and 7:55 p.m. A photo os a possible suspect was captured on the homeowner's video doorbell at 6:44 p.m.
