For People with Disabilities

Services

We provide the following services for people with disabilities:

Apply for Medicaid

Health insurance for those over age 65, disabled, or children and adults under age 65 who meet certain qualifications.

Apply for SNAP (Food Stamps)

Experiencing financial hardship? Looking for a nutritious diet for your family? Apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Dial-a-Ride

Municipal Dial-a-rides provide transportation for local seniors.

Home Delivered Meals

Home delivered meals for Morris County residents who are homebound or otherwise not able to physically shop, cook, or feed themselves.

Personal Assistance Services Program (PASP)

This is a program that helps permanently disabled adults to work, go to school, or volunteer.

Prescription Assistance

Get one-time prescription assistance.

Sign up for the Morris Area Paratransit System (MAPS)

MAPS is a curb-to-curb shared ride transportation service available to Morris County residents. This service is for senior citizens, people with disabilities, and veterans. We also provide transportation to the general public who live in rural areas of the county.

Aging, Disabilities & Community Programming

We provide information, referrals and direct client assistance for older adults, persons with disabilities, veterans and caregivers. Technical assistance and public speakers are available for local organizations.
