The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) in partnership with Morris County is investigating alternatives to eliminate the height restriction on NJ Transit's Morristown Line between Denville and Morristown that restricts the movement of Plate “F” Railcars to the Whippany Line. Beginning Monday, July 21, lane closures will occur along West Hanover Avenue between Koch Avenue and the Morris County Public Safety Complex for expansion and improvement work on sewer, water and other utility lines. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday next week, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting. One lane will be open in each direction to accommodate eastbound and westbound traffic.
