Emergency Winter Sheltering

NJ S-3422, signed into law on January 21, 2020, requires that a Code Blue alert is declared by the Morris County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) when the National Weather Service predicts temperatures will reach 32 degrees Fahrenheit or lower, or that the wind chill temperature will be zero degrees Fahrenheit or lower for a period of two (2) or more hours.
WHEN A CODE BLUE IS IN EFFECT, EMERGENCY SHELTER IS AVAILABLE.
